Nothen much goin on today

Well got no big news... nothen to tell.. or I should say nothen I want to tell.. lol.. Now that I know there are *people* watching whom I do not know of.. I am more careful of ANNOUNCEMENTS I guess you could say...lol.. anyhow.. so today is Tuesday got lots to do.. Steve is still sick fighting this bad stuff... Here read this article from a mom in a home school group I belong to.. It is a prayer request.....
..................................................................................................................................
We really need your prayers right now for our oldest daughter,Mariyana, who is 15. Prayers for miraculous healing and recovery. Iam writing to you from the Intensive Care Unit of our local hospital. Here's a recap of what's going on.*We had a nasty flu/cold going through the house over the past week. All the kids (except Kia) got varying degrees of it, but generallywere back on their feet in just a few days (except Josiah who got yetanother double ear infection and upper respiratory infection).Anyways, Mariyana got the same thing - cough, sore throat, headache, achiness.*We brought her to the doctor on Wednesday and she checked out fine.Thursday she was starting to feel better and be back up and around. However, she still complained on dizziness and a headache.*Friday, however, Mariyana started slurring her words, walkingunsteadily. Her ability to do simple tasks like eating and writingwere markedly reduced. So, we brought her into the doctor thatafternoon.*Since then, she's been admitted to the ICU at our hospital. They'vedone a spinal tap, MRI, CT-Scan, blood tests and more. Her symptomshave gotten worse and she now also has double vision, and experiencedat least one seizure.*So far we know she has some viral infection in her spinal fluid(meningitis or encephalitis) , a spot on her brain (possibledemyelization) and her seizures. She is on antibiotics, anti-viral,a second anti-viral, seizure medication and MS medication tocounteract the demyelization.*Numerous tests have been sent off around the country for differentcultures or screening panels. Most of those will take 3-5 days tocome back. Additional MRIs and EEGs have also been ordered.*If her situation worsens, they will likely fly her out to aspecialized pediatric hospital (not sure where). In the meantime, weare in the ICU, and will be here multiple days. There isn't a lotthat we can do now except pray and wait. Mariyana is pretty knockedout, and mostly resting. She can't hardly walk or talk, has doublevision, and even basic skills like eating are a challenge.*Long-term prognosis? We're not sure at this point. I'm of coursetied up here at the hospital, and John is doing the best he can withthe rest of the kids. Of course being about 75 minutes from thehospital makes things even more challenging at this point. So, please be praying for our dear daughter. It is awful to see herlike this, and we are just praying for a full, complete recovery in amiraculously short time. You can reach me on email, or by callingBozeman Deaconess ICU. Thank you so much for holding all of us up inprayer

So this stuff is nasty that is going around.. some people seem to be getting it and just passing it off OK others like this dear family are seeing the worse of it and others are just miserable with it.. so keep all in your prayers if you think about it... Someone said to me last week" you guys seem to always be sick" ya know that doesn't make a person feel to good.. lol and last I checked being sick was not done on purpose..lol.. so until we are past the "voodoo " stage I will stay away from everyone and in our Lil abode until all the "germs" are gone..lol.. Anyhow.. Hope everyone has a great week...
