And we are off...........

So after creating a NEW blog I can no longer USE it..lol.. ACkk.. maybe I will remember my log in info.. oh well... anyhoo... Soo wow we have been very very busy this summer and had a blast along the way. Our school year is now in FULL swing and we have lots of exciting interesting things happening in our life.. Shania is in JR High, Kelsey is 6th Grade and Kaitlyn is 4th Grade. We are Eclectic homeschooler's. What that means is we use many different approaches to our home school journey and not just one avenue,it makes for a very adventurous rewarding experience. There are still so many things I want to do with the girls but also do not want to overwhelm our schedules, so each year we just replace an element with another that way we are constantly trying new things along with keeping with what is working.. works very well for us.. I loveeeeeeeeeeeee the fact that I get to stay home with our girls and teach them. It is the most single rewarding experience of my life!! Sure we have our days, but I have always said " Our worst day off the bus, is still better than the best day on" meaning I wouldn't trade it for the world!! I was thinking back to when we began this journey as a family 6 years ago and how scared and overwhelmed I was from the unknown and from the nay Sayers and their IN THE BOX thinking.. I to was one of those ITBT's and oh boy was it ever hard for me to change.. But with God's grace and the help of MANY friends, I was shown a whole new world of education I knew nothing about.. When I took on the job as educator I did it with the best principal in the world( my hubby) and three awesome students. I may not have known much back than but all that mattered to me was, my girls were not a number nor a punching bag for kids and teachers alike to dump all their trash onto 8 hours a day. When I let go of allll the uneducated view points of homeschooling we dove in 100% and have not turned back. Oh sure I have looked for the nearest school, wanted to hale the passing school bus many days out of sheer frustration with myself... lol but WE MADE IT... and I honestly cant believe we have this long wow time has flown by. I am just so impressed with how GOD has led us and helped us along this journey.. There is NOTHING in this world greater than the moment you lil girls looks into your eyes with sheer uninhibited emotion and says.."MAMA I GET IT.. I REALLY GET IT" and you look at her admiration and respect gleaming in her eyes for you.. It makes ALLLLL the tears, doubts, fears, and all those other things just disappear in an instant.. It is than another milestone has been stepped over TOGETHER and that is a bond that money just can not buy.. Homeschooling is not always just about teaching your kids, they teach you plenty about yourself and you need to be just as willing to learn a lesson or two from them as you want them to learn from you! SOOO anywayyyyyyy.. YES I LOVE TO HOME SCHOOL. Can ya tell? hehehe.. I must hurry and get off of here to get dinner going, we just wrapped up another productive day of school and church is tonight. God is so good!!

Home from my Journies

Thank the Lord we are home safe and sound.. Had a very eventful few weeks and lots of pictures to scrapbook from it. I will upload pics later... After coming back home from Suzie's spent the night packed and left the next morning for Palm dale California where our church camp is located.. This was my first time there and I was a bit uncertain of what to expect.. I was not disappointed.. Was an awesome time of fellowship with old and new friends... most importantly was a time of drawing closer to GOD and moving up the latter spiritually.. Thank the Lord all that and some happened.. The girls had such a good time and they to were fed spiritually and that made all worth it.. Ya know I just feel so blessed to belong to such a wonderful family of GOD.. I have so many brothers and sisters all over this great planet my Father created.. Now that's something to be able to say MY FATHER!!!! I am so full of expectation, hope, encouragement, and excitement for the future to see what GOD is going to be doing in our lives and those around us.. and for our church... GOD IS NOT DONE YET!!! Thank you Father for your protection and continual blessings upon our life.. Hope everyone has a great week!! God Bless...

From the Beth Moore Bible Study"When Godly people do unGodly things"

"Blessed relief!
I choose to believe.
I hold without swerving
to what I've received.
God who has promised
is faithful to me.
Blessed relief!
I choose to believe."

Summer Summer Summer

We got invited out to a very awesome local celebrity's home yesterday to go swimming.. WOW OK.. right? Ah we had soooooooooooo much fun... Not to mention you feel like your driving to South Africa because the house is on the OTHER side of the world from where we are staying..lol.. Beautiful drive I must say.. You pull up and behold a very SURREAL picture ... Gorgeous home.. Door opens and you step into the Venetian like foyer.. welcomed with smells tantalizing your senses.. Your escorted to the back veranda to dispose of your belongings and pick your tanning spot.. The children laughing and playing.. music to my ears.. ROFL ROFL ROFL.. ....
***** STOP***** Laughing****

OK so we went to Cherita's swimming yesterday and her and I layed out while the kids played on their awesome thingy.... We had so much fun talking, laughing and relaxing.... Before we knew it 3 hours had passed and our children no longer looked familiar to us as they had BAKED for awhile.. rofl.. we also started feeling THE BURN...She so ever graciously fed us as I am sure we LOOKED starvingly hungry... After one said lunch we chatted and departed for our journey home.. With each passing mile I felt like the heat on the oven had been turned up and was baking... My dear husband had pity and stopped on his way from work and got us some Aloe Vera spray and some other kind of after sun spray and also cooked dinner.. After a night of walking around in sheets and tanks we are feeling better today.. still stiff and hot but will recover.. lol.. Did I say we had SOOOO MUCHHH FUN.. This chick is one awesome birdet.... SO thanks Cherita if you read this.. We had a blast!!!

Answer to Prayer!

Wanted to post a quick blog... Major answer to prayer.. My Aunt whom I have been requesting prayer for is home from the hospital.. Still has a LONGGGG way to go but its huge she is home.. Got a text from her at 5:30 this morning with the good news.. Was never more happy to receive a text at that hour in all my life.... My Uncle is home with her and is taking care of her.. Please keep remembering them both in your prayers as this is a very exhausting time for both.. So happy she is home!!
