"Finally, brethren, whatever things are true whatever things are noble, whatever things are just whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

And we are off...........
So after creating a NEW blog I can no longer USE it..lol.. ACkk.. maybe I will remember my log in info.. oh well... anyhoo... Soo wow we have been very very busy this summer and had a blast along the way. Our school year is now in FULL swing and we have lots of exciting interesting things happening in our life.. Shania is in JR High, Kelsey is 6th Grade and Kaitlyn is 4th Grade. We are Eclectic homeschooler's. What that means is we use many different approaches to our home school journey and not just one avenue,it makes for a very adventurous rewarding experience. There are still so many things I want to do with the girls but also do not want to overwhelm our schedules, so each year we just replace an element with another that way we are constantly trying new things along with keeping with what is working.. works very well for us.. I loveeeeeeeeeeeee the fact that I get to stay home with our girls and teach them. It is the most single rewarding experience of my life!! Sure we have our days, but I have always said " Our worst day off the bus, is still better than the best day on" meaning I wouldn't trade it for the world!! I was thinking back to when we began this journey as a family 6 years ago and how scared and overwhelmed I was from the unknown and from the nay Sayers and their IN THE BOX thinking.. I to was one of those ITBT's and oh boy was it ever hard for me to change.. But with God's grace and the help of MANY friends, I was shown a whole new world of education I knew nothing about.. When I took on the job as educator I did it with the best principal in the world( my hubby) and three awesome students. I may not have known much back than but all that mattered to me was, my girls were not a number nor a punching bag for kids and teachers alike to dump all their trash onto 8 hours a day. When I let go of allll the uneducated view points of homeschooling we dove in 100% and have not turned back. Oh sure I have looked for the nearest school, wanted to hale the passing school bus many days out of sheer frustration with myself... lol but WE MADE IT... and I honestly cant believe we have this long wow time has flown by. I am just so impressed with how GOD has led us and helped us along this journey.. There is NOTHING in this world greater than the moment you lil girls looks into your eyes with sheer uninhibited emotion and says.."MAMA I GET IT.. I REALLY GET IT" and you look at her admiration and respect gleaming in her eyes for you.. It makes ALLLLL the tears, doubts, fears, and all those other things just disappear in an instant.. It is than another milestone has been stepped over TOGETHER and that is a bond that money just can not buy.. Homeschooling is not always just about teaching your kids, they teach you plenty about yourself and you need to be just as willing to learn a lesson or two from them as you want them to learn from you! SOOO anywayyyyyyy.. YES I LOVE TO HOME SCHOOL. Can ya tell? hehehe.. I must hurry and get off of here to get dinner going, we just wrapped up another productive day of school and church is tonight. God is so good!!
