HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANIA

WOW 12 years old today!! How time does go by so fast.. I am so excited to watch you grow and share in the experiences you have each day. Such a blessing to see what a lovely young lady God is shaping and molding you to be. Your warm smile, gentle heart, giving spirit, and unselfish love are just a few of the things I love most about you. I just love your heart.... Such a joy to not only be your mother but also your teacher.. your truly a treasure from heaven.. I miss the little girl you use to be toddling behind me with a broom or a mop wanting to "help" me clean the kitchen.. now your cooking, baking , and cleaning better than some grown women.. I am so happy to share the experience of singing in the church choir together and I could go on and on.. all the scrap booking nights and just our long talks we have so often.. I love you so much and you will always be my baby... Of course you know your always daddy's lil girl :) I hope your having a good birthday and I love you so much..

It is moving week AGAIN!!

Update... My sister got the job.. WOO HOOOO grats sis... and they found a beautiful house.. WHOO HOOO.. So happy for them( and maybe one day move out there by ya:) So this week will be moving day once again but its a good thing for sure.... They are settling in purty good with occasional culture shock here and there(mostly here)lol.. They like our church and the kids LOVE LOVE LOVE the youth groups... I have been taken a few days off the last few days and doing nothen but SCRAPBOOOKINGG( thanks Vicky) It has been wonderful to get some more pages done and just RELAX... LOVE IT... The girls are gearing up for their Christmas coral at church next month (Shelby has joined them in that) and Shania finally joined the choir with her mama :) She is actually loven it.. and doing very well... Life is good but there is one HUGE thing missing and the MOST important to... MY HUBBY!!! I miss him so much and it is still weird and hard to adjust to him working away from home.. Oh how my heart aches for him :( We spend HOURSSSSSSSS on the phone all day and night together.. I just listen to him work during the day sometimes( he has a blue tooth) lol.. just to hear his voice... I can not fall asleep at night without that phone tucked in one ear to hear his voice and my teddy( with his t-shirt and Cologne on it) in the other arm.. Yes and we still have our DATE nights on the puter..( love the modern day stuff) Just pray that it works out for him to get home soon for a lil R&R!!!!! The weather is nice and cool now and we are loven it... SO just a lil bit of what has been going on in our neck of da woods.. Hope everyone is gearing up for this WONDERFUL time of the year and filled with thanksgiving and hope because we serve a BIG GOD!!

Well I think I might finally be over the worse part of this stuff.. I still do not sound the greatest but hey least its getting better.. just with the constant coughing would stop... anyway now just praying no one else in the house gets it.. We have a house full and things are going good.. never a dull moment :).. It is nice to have some family around.. My sister and her family went to church today with us and that was nice.. they got to be there for my first night in the Praise and Worship choir.. I didn't plan on joining but was somewhat drafted as I was dropping off Kelsey and Kaity to their children's choir practice tonight... I love my church and feels really good to be singing praises to GOD with such a great group of people.. Now hope I can get us back to our normal schedule this week with me feeling some what better... Got the whole gang off to bed and hope to get up at our reg scheduled time.. God is good.. all the time.. all the time.. God is good!!

What a beautiful day

Today is an absolutely beautiful day here.. 70 degree's got the windows open and the nice breeze is blowing in.. But because of the up and down temperatures we have been fighting off this cold stuff and I guess it was my turn to get it because yesterday the more the day went the worse I felt.. So I woke up this morning not able to swallow, head felt like a million pounds, and I ached from head to toe. So of course did not get to go to church today :( and I hate missing church.. So we are just taken it easy and doing some last min clean up. We are expecting our company in sometime tonight late late or I should say early morning..lol. prob round 2-3am.. Shania is so graciously giving up her room for her Aunt and Uncle so she is in there making it nice for them. I hear the vacuum cleaner now and she got out the best sheets in the linen closet to put on the bed. Will be a house full as her step son is with them as well so will be alot of fun. So that is what is going on in our corner of the globe :) Hope everyone is staying healthy and not getting this stuff and enjoying this beautiful weather.. Have a great blessed filled week :)

Sort of an update

Well lets see.. No pics to post( still waiting on them) and we are trying to organize and clean all at once ( still unpacking and sorting) and making room for our company this weekend( if they manage to make some time..lol) My sister and family are moving here to live by us and I am SOOOOOOOOO excited... It was a very tearful goodbye( I prefer C ya ) in phx but I couldn't help but still be excited to have them coming.. Will be so nice to have them here.. Kinda funny in a way how my sister and I never use to get along let alone like each other and now we have gone through some stuff and found out that we were best friends all along just couldn't see it. I am so thankful for her and her friendship and I know that she has my back no matter what. I love that in Christ we can let things go and forgive and forget and rebuild and that makes all the difference in the world.. So yes we are very excited and this isn't easy for her she has NEVER moved out of state with her family and this will most definitely be an adventure for her.. lol.. I told her lucky for her we are here and she can stay with us until they find a house.. We had to find one before we got here didn't have that luxury..lol.. Anyhow so we have that going on and lots of things at church going on so we are keeping very very busy.. Oct 30Th is a fall festival at the school and the 31st is a youth hay ride at the youth pastors house.. Nov 8th is the youth girls outing to Arkansas to an arts and craft fair plus shopping.. than that night is the ladies from the church's night out to Chanda Peirce.. I am soooo excited for that.. I will get to go ALONE meaning without children.. My sister will keep the girls for me..... Well I am gonna get way past my bed time and I have more laundry to do.. Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful time of the year.. I LOVEEEE FALL!!!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVEEEE ITTTT...

Getting Baptised

The girls and I are getting baptised tomorrow night... We were going to wait until Steve got to be home but as a family have decided to go ahead and when he gets home than he will be baptised then. Both Steve and I were raised to know and believe in water baptism but have never been and our girls have not either. Seems alot of the churches now days just do not practise that anymore and I think we should.. It's in the Bible! So after much thought and prayer we are going to be... The girls gave their testimony to the youth pastor and I was so proud(in a good way) to be able to say YES there is a change in their lives since they got saved!!!! It does a mama's heart good to see her young'ns growing spiritually.. It is so precious...
Missions Revival ended AWESOME!!! The Spirit of God was so strong in that service ya just couldn't help but shout.. I felt so challenged to pray for our missionaries and for the burden of others... and to be used right here at home to see souls saved.. To "live beyond ourselves" is the best place to be... After going through what Steve and I did these last few years with being hurt by a few people whom were close to us did not think we would ever be able to heal from that and have the ability to "put" ourselves back out there to have the compassion of others like we should as Christan's.. But we serve a great big God who is the great healer of all ... And getting our eyes off of ourselves and our hurts, disappointments, and pain we can look to him instead and when that happens... it is truly amazing to not only see but FEEL the work that is being done in your life... To be able to Praise HIM through it all and keep the Joy of the Lord on our tongues is just simply AMAZING!!!!! SHEW gonna have me a shout en spell right now :)

I trust everyone has had a blessed week and will have an awesome weekend in the Lord!
I must get back to my house. We are expecting company soon and will have a house full ( I don't mind I love it)
Keep us in your prayers as I do for all of you.. Much love!

Pics from Sunday Oct 5th

These are random pics from Old Fashioned Days at church on Oct 5th 2008.. Was a fun day yet the pastor preached a very good message about going back to the TRUE old fashioned ways of spiritual living..
The girls had so much fun "dressing up" thanks to Ms Pam for borrowing those dresses to us for the day :) ( the 3rd picture down is Ms Pam and her family)
