Good morning all.....
I am on my way out to school and wanted to give a lil update on grandma.. The results of the MRA came back last night and it is her heart.. Her heart is slightly enlarged(that is normal due to age) she has weakening of the valves and also has had a previous mini stroke sometime in the past. The cardiologist was coming in this morning to go over everything and give her meds and stuff and go from there... so she needs your continued prayers and thanks again so much to everyone support.. we really appreciate it.. and I am sorry if I have not returned some of your phone calls but I will get to everyone who has left messages. Update on my Grandma

Well we thought grandma might get to come home but there was a new development after her MRI today. As the DR suspected there showed some abnormality's in her neck and the concern is a blocked/clogged artery. So they did a MRA and the results are not in yet and she is still in the hospital. Her spirits are high and she is able to talk normally jut gets tired easy. So when we learn more I will post on here. Thanks to all who are calling and emailing your prayer and support.. it is greatly appreciated. We are all worried about grandma and are praying for the best. I am so glad she has some good DR's who are taking care of her and are trying to get to the bottom of this and hopefully be able to FIX the problem.

Prayer Request & Update

As some of you may of already heard my grandmother had a stroke last night around 6pm. I was taking a nap when Steve came bounding in the door saying SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH GRANDMA.. I jumped up and ran inside the minute I stepped in the door she looked at me with that look and I knew something bad was happening. She was nodding off and couldn't move or speak. I ran over to her and started moving her arm and told her she was having a stroke to stay with me. I called 911 than dropped to my knees and started praying.. I heard her say "JESUS" and that is all she could get out. I totally know and believe that GOD touched her in that moment as to not let it get worse. They came and rushed her code all the way to the hospital and the ER staff was GREAT. They gave her meds right away and started running tests. SO what we know at this point is this... She did have a minor stroke... we do not know the prolonged damage as of yet... her speech is still very slurred and her face is still slightly droopy.. and this morning at 6am when my mother called me from the hospital grandma did not remember how she had got there or what had happend. That is normal for this kind of event... They are going to be running tests all day today and think it could be because of her celebrex( for her arthritis) or her biaten( im sure that is spelled wrong but its for her BP)
So please keep her in your prayers.. she is a strong woman and to see my grandma this weak really shook me to the core.. The nurse even noted on how close I was to her and how great it was that I knew her medical history and all her meds that really helped them treat her faster.. I said well she is basically like a mother to me.. she raised me... My Uncle Dan is traveling he is in NM and is trying to get here so pray for him as he is sick with this flue stuff and trying to get to see his mom. And all the rest of the family.. We all love grandma very much and want the best for her..
My mother and sister are up at the hospital now and I have class today than will be going up right after class. So when I have more news I will try to keep everyone posted.. Most of you have my cell# so just feel free to call and I will try to get back with you as soon as I can. Thanks again for all the prayers that went up last night on behalf of my grandma... Like I was telling my sister as soon as I heard grandma say"JESUS" I knew she would be OK.. that woman has the direct line to heaven if ya know what I mean... Hope everyone has a blessed week..

ROFL..... I am such a goooof!!!! I totally left out why the #18 is so GREAT.. rofl.. That is the amount of FLAB I have lost in the past 6 weeks!!!!!! I am not even on an official diet plan just kinda cutting back and watching my intake.. SO ya that was way cool to see that :):) And it was on the OFFICIAL scales not my home ones..lol..

18 is a GREAT number!

OK so I finished my first week of *back to school* and it was good. Tiring as I have a LONG drive but it's all good. Let's see.. onnnn I think it was Wednesday we were given our scrubs and I had asked for a skirt but they only had wrap around dresses.. hmmm*pondering*** Ya not gonna work I told them.. lol what I got doesn't need to be wrapped it needs to be COVERED UP... ok,, lol... Soo I said just give me the pants and I will take care of it... sooo they were skeptical and well I was nervous..lol.. I can sew but have not in awhile and only had once shot at this because we were to NOT SHOW UP OUT OF SCRUBS On Thursday... SOOO Steve got the machine out and I started to look at it and pluck away at the seams and kept thinking*what if I screw this up... ACKKK* SOOOOOO I called my awesome friend Tammy and asked her if she would take pitty on me @ 8pm on a wed night..lol.. So she saved the day and totally did an awesome job and EVERYONEEEEEE*even the critics* loved the skirt. It looks so nice and I am forever grateful to her :):):) SO THANK YOU TAMMY!!!!! So with that over with I was able to MOVE ON and finish the week.. WHOO HOOOO!!!! I am totally trying to get use to this*new schedule* The kids are are not that thrilled anymore at how long I am gone during the day..lol.. I said girls wait till I start working..lol.. however that will be while they are sleeping.. So today I have a list a mile long to accomplish and I am starting late but hey I got a GREAT excuse I WAS CUDDLING!!!!!!!lol... So I got no pic's(yes Donna I know you would like some) but hey such is life..rofl.. I will try to get some up SOON.. Well I must get so I can get things done and ready for church tomorrow and and and............. Hope everyone has an AWESOME weekend and enjoys this AWESOME weather to be out doors!!!!

PUSH PUSH PUSH

No I am not having a baby.. I had CPR.. rofl.. we did BLS CPR today in class and *yawn* was so bored..lol.. and the reason being I use to TEACH this class when I worked for CN.. lol.. but it was good and of course I got an A .. WHOO HOOO..lol.. and my muscles are SOREEEEEEEE..lol... this ol gal is getten put back in shape let me tell ya.. And that's a good thing hope I start loosing more weight. I am deff feeling better with all the walking I am doing and just overall feeling GREAT!!!! My mom was my study Buddy tonight*lol* She wants to go back to school but is so scared and I as trying to show her how EASY it is and to just take it slow.. lol she is afraid of all the TECH side of it.. well of course I told her she did not hafta be a PCT and draw blood do EKG's insert cath's so on so forth.. lol I said just go to a nursing home and wipe bootays all day and you be alright..lol.. So anyway that was kinda fun she was trying to pronounce all the terms and that was comical.. lol... The girls are just so proud of me for going to School..lol they think its kewl that I hafta go to school to like them ...lol.. and I am so going to miss my hubby when he starts this new job.. he has dinner ready for me when I come in.. all the chores done and also does school with the girls.. I AM SPOOOOOOILEDDDD rotten and not afraid to admit it.. lol.. I LOVE MA BABY!!!!! So anyway that's about it for now.. Here I am getting use to a EARLY day schedule when in a few weeks will be right back to nights.. o well.. lol such is life..

Tired

Well tonight will not be a really big post. I am sooo tired.. had a busy busy day.. Got a call early this morning from my school telling me that a spot in the class starting today came open and did I want it.. lol so I said YESSs so had to get the money and hurry to school in MESA..lol.... I was so glad though that a spot was open early and I did not have to wait another few months to get in.. so thats deff good news.. so I got 4 weeks class time and 1 week off than 1 week of clinicals than graduation is in may sometime... lol I was kinda bored today I KNOW THIS STUFF..rofl.. so anyway the instructor had me helping those who did not know.. so anyway the traffic makes me more tired than anything but hey its only for 5 weeks.. SOOO thats wuts up wit me this week.. Hope y'all have a good week...
