Prayer Request & Update

As some of you may of already heard my grandmother had a stroke last night around 6pm. I was taking a nap when Steve came bounding in the door saying SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH GRANDMA.. I jumped up and ran inside the minute I stepped in the door she looked at me with that look and I knew something bad was happening. She was nodding off and couldn't move or speak. I ran over to her and started moving her arm and told her she was having a stroke to stay with me. I called 911 than dropped to my knees and started praying.. I heard her say "JESUS" and that is all she could get out. I totally know and believe that GOD touched her in that moment as to not let it get worse. They came and rushed her code all the way to the hospital and the ER staff was GREAT. They gave her meds right away and started running tests. SO what we know at this point is this... She did have a minor stroke... we do not know the prolonged damage as of yet... her speech is still very slurred and her face is still slightly droopy.. and this morning at 6am when my mother called me from the hospital grandma did not remember how she had got there or what had happend. That is normal for this kind of event... They are going to be running tests all day today and think it could be because of her celebrex( for her arthritis) or her biaten( im sure that is spelled wrong but its for her BP)
So please keep her in your prayers.. she is a strong woman and to see my grandma this weak really shook me to the core.. The nurse even noted on how close I was to her and how great it was that I knew her medical history and all her meds that really helped them treat her faster.. I said well she is basically like a mother to me.. she raised me... My Uncle Dan is traveling he is in NM and is trying to get here so pray for him as he is sick with this flue stuff and trying to get to see his mom. And all the rest of the family.. We all love grandma very much and want the best for her..
My mother and sister are up at the hospital now and I have class today than will be going up right after class. So when I have more news I will try to keep everyone posted.. Most of you have my cell# so just feel free to call and I will try to get back with you as soon as I can. Thanks again for all the prayers that went up last night on behalf of my grandma... Like I was telling my sister as soon as I heard grandma say"JESUS" I knew she would be OK.. that woman has the direct line to heaven if ya know what I mean... Hope everyone has a blessed week..
