AH... What a beautiful day. Arose at 5am to a calm and peaceful house no one was stirring not even a mouse( wait is that about Christmas?:) Put my pot of TEA on to brew from the tea shop( in phx)mmmm.. Got my prayer journal out and began to just pour out to GOD all the cares of this life and ask to be filled with only HIM.. Met with the MASTER in prayer and began my "homework" from Bible Study.. WOW I serve a BIG GOD.. To know that I am in HIS shadow is just awe strikingly amazing to me... To point out only one thing I learned this morning would be this... No power of darkness or evil( seen or unseen) can touch what the SPIRIT of GOD has control over... WOW... I know that doesn't mean we wont face hard times( just look around) but to know we serve a GOD who created all of this. knew this day and time would come.. knew the trials we would face... loved ME so much that he would send HIS ONLY SON to pay a price I would never have to pay... If that don't make ya want to jump and shout I don't know what will :) These trials are just that.. to TRY us... I just am so filled with thanksgiving in my heart to know that MY REDEEMER lives and has all this "stuff" under control so that THROUGH HIM I can still live a sanctified life!!!! HALLELUJAH!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!
So here I sit, Tea in hand, totally blessed, and ready to face the day!!! Now it is time to awaken my lil precious girls and kick start the day... We are starting a unit study today by Laura Ingalls Wilder.. should be very exciting... The girls LOVE her books and so do I!!! We will learn all about how those pioneers lived and get to make all kinds of interesting things such as... homemade candles, soap, learn to weave, cross stitch, make calico curtains... Make meals from what they ate... just chalked full of all kinds of interesting things.. I for sure will be posting our progress and pictures for everyone to see...
