We serve such an awesome GOD who cares about EVERY little detail in our lives no matter how small they may seem to others. Last night I was cooking dinner and 2 other meals to put in the freezer for this weekend ( we are still remodeling) when my foot got stuck in a rug that was torn and I tripped and twisted my back. Well for those of you who know me .... knowwwww that I do not need any added thing to cause my back to JUST GO out on me.. SO yes it went and I had to sit down and put ice and take something for the pain. Well the girls of course are always worried about me when I get hurt and take such good care of their mama :) but last night they had a *special* reason to be worried. Tonight we are supposed to go have a girls night out & slumber party at my sisters tonight and they have been planning and working so hard on it this week. So when we went to bed they said "mama we will pray for you" Now I thought that was sweet but I will be honest did not really truly expect it to just FIX my back as I know how it usually goes.. So off to bed we all went and I am here to tell you that when I woke up this morning I was able to get up out of bed and stand up straight with barely any pain and walk... I was like WOA.. Kaity was there and she got these HUGE eyes and she laid her hand on my lower back and said.. MAMA JESUS HEARD ME HE REALLY HEARD ME... That got me ..... It hit me hard that not only did my child love me so much to pray for me but that my God loved me so much to listen and answer HER prayer. I came into the kitchen to discover that ALL the kids had prayed for me last night.. Ryan,Shania,Kelsey,Shelby, & Kaity. What an awesome thing for their faith to grow because they seen a prayer answered and what a humbling experience for me to realize that the Bible really means what it says " lay your cares upon Him" So I am thankful for that answer to prayer today and I am able to clean and get ready for tonight's *party*. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!
